Online Scholarship Application
This application is used for the APSF endowed scholarships that require an online application through the Community Foundation of the Ozarks. Recipients are normally selected in March/April and awarded during the Academic Awards ceremony.
Paper Scholarship Application
This application is used for the APSF endowed & renewable scholarships that do not use the online application. Once completed, return to the High School counselor. Recipients are normally selected in March/April and awarded during the Academic Awards ceremony.
FAFSA
Information regarding the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This is required if you wish to receive many scholarships or government grants or loans. Applications typically open October 1 of each year, and are partially first-come, first-served.
Teachers
Teacher Grants
Each year the APSF awards grants to teachers of the Alton R-IV School District in conjunction with the Community Foundation of the Ozark’s “Harry Cooper Grants” program. Applications are normally distributed to teachers in October and approved in November. Grant uses include:
- unreimbursed classroom supplies
- supplemental teaching materials
- school club projects & activities
